We ordered this blender to replace our old dinosaur blender. The blender seems powerful enough to handle ice cubes for frozen slushies, as well as making nice blended adult beverages. While we did not specifically order it for the color, we were pleased with the pretty red color accents. This is the first blender that we have owned that employ a push rod to help get solids down into the blades. That works better than expected. An extra bonus is the smaller blending container for use when the job does not warrant using the generously larger one. Bottom line, we are pleased with the blender so far and can recommend it. 5 Stars!
